Membership Billing/Pause Requests

Membership Pause & Freeze Policy

Wise Yoga and Cycle | Bothell, Washington

Effective March 1, 2026

At Wise Yoga and Cycle, we understand that life happens—whether it’s a planned vacation, a busy season at work, or time needed for recovery. Our Membership Pause Policy allows you to put your practice on hold without losing your current rate or paying a new enrollment fee.

1. Eligibility & Duration

• Standard Pause: All monthly recurring memberships are eligible for a pause once during each 12-month period, beginning on the membership enrollment date, for a minimum of 14 days and a maximum of 90 days.

  • Additional freezes beyond what is allowed can be purchased for $20 per month.

• Medical & Military Necessity: If you require a longer pause due to medical reasons or military deployment, please provide supporting documentation. We will waive all freeze fees and duration limits in these cases.

2. Notice Period & Billing

• 30-Day Notice: To ensure your next billing cycle is not processed, pause requests must be submitted at least 30 days prior to your next scheduled payment.

• Freeze Fees: A nominal fee of $15 per month will be charged in lieu of your full membership dues. This keeps your account active in our system and locks in your current membership pricing.

• Automatic Reactivation: Your membership and full billing will automatically resume on your pre-selected return date.

3. Terms & Conditions

• Commitment Periods: If you are currently within a minimum commitment period (e.g., a 6-month or 12-month contract), the duration of the pause will be added to the end of your contract term.

• Studio Access: While your membership is paused, you will not have access to classes or digital content. You can attend workshops, although without the member discount.

• No Retroactive Pauses: We cannot retroactively pause memberships or issue refunds for missed classes prior to the official pause request date.

4. How to Request a Pause

To initiate a pause, please fill out our Online Membership Change Form or email us at hello@wiseyogacycle.com. In accordance with Washington State law, all requests will be confirmed via email within 48 hours.

We encourage you to review your billing statements regularly.

For any questions regarding billing or membership freeze, please don't hesitate to contact us.

Studio Etiquette: YOGA

We believe your yoga practice is a journey of self-discovery and connection. To foster a peaceful and respectful environment for everyone on their mat, we kindly ask that you follow these yoga etiquette guidelines:

Please Arrive Early Sign up in advance and aim to arrive 10-15 minutes prior to the start of class. This allows you—and your fellow yogis—to settle in and receive the full benefit of the practice.

Unplug to Unwind To have a peaceful, distraction-free experience, please store phones outside the yoga room and be sure notifications are turned off if wearing a fitness watch. (If you have a special circumstance, speak with your teacher before class.)

Honor Śauca – Keep the Space Clear Store shoes and personal belongings in the cubbies provided and keep the area around your mat neat and tidy. This practice of Śauca supports clarity, cleanliness, and respect for shared space.

Embrace Quiet Minimize conversation before class and during practice to allow everyone, including you, to fully immerse in the experience. After class, once your teacher has left the room and everyone has closed their practice, feel free to connect and chat with your community!

Stay Through Savasana Please remain in the room until the end of class, leaving after your teacher has brought class to a close. If you must leave early, please speak to your teacher in advance and practice by the door so you can exit quietly and without disturbing others.

Lead with Kindness Above all, kindness toward yourself and others is essential. Our intention is for everyone to feel welcome, supported and uplifted and for our community to experience a sense of joy and harmony throughout the studio. Thank you!

Om Shanti (Peace)
